gypsy & I

A little over 2 years ago Gypsy sat me down and said that I appeared to be unhappy with my work in the corporate world. She also felt it was important that I find a job that would allow her to remain spoiled during business hours. I took her advice and enrolled in the Brenneke School of Massage extended licensing program. While researching massage programs I came across animal massage and Gypsy felt that would be a great choice for me.

After receiving my massage license I enrolled in the Northwest School of Animal Massage where I received my Small Animal Massage Practitioner endorsement.

I spend a lot of time working at Dogís Day Out (www.dogsdayout.com) assisting with training/obedience classes, dog walking, and daycare. These experiences allow me to continue to acclimate myself to dog personalities, behaviors and cues, which are so important in animal massage.

I live in the Carkeek Park area with my husband and of course, the cutest dog in the world, Gypsy. Gypsy is a 12-year-old Staffordshire Terrier who fills my days with happiness and runs our lives according to her schedule.

I have always loved animals and I canít recall a time when I didn't have a dog by my side. Being able to work with animals now is the greatest privilege of my life.

P.S. Gypsy has also suggested perhaps itís a little odd that my dog talks to me???
